Who are we?

Jaime Droguett, co-founder

I was borned in Santiago, Chile, in 1968 and since my childhood I have been a nature enthusiast. I have been in the travel industry since I graduated from the School of Tourism in 1991. At the time I decided to move to San Pedro de Atacama, because - believe it or not - in the early 90's tourism was just beginning over there.

Year after year, I have explored the Atacama Desert and the Altiplano. Getting more and more experience as a freelance tourist guide for individual travelers and special interest groups.

In 1997 I decided to move to Iquique, one of the best places to operate all the Atacama Desert.

In 2002 I made a big step ahead founding this independent Tour Operator with Marcela Piddo, my wife and partner. Since then we have been working with the main inbound travel agencies in Chile, which had offered the opportunity of managing a wide range of destinations and supporting the operations with vast expertise developed in the field.

In 2013 we decided to move our main office from Iquique to Viña del Mar, nearby Santiago but far enough of its crowd.

Here we are now, working in as many destinations as people prefer a unique travel experiences rather than just tours.

I have been a traveler since my grandmother invited me to Easter Island, when I was 15 years old.  In all these years and drove by many different reasons, I have had the chance of travelling all over more than 20 countries including my own - fantastic! - one.

I am in love with Chile, and although I am a journalist I decided to give a twist to my carrer and work in the travel industry since 2002. Looking backward I am certain that it has been great decision.

We love what we do, so each and every time we receive a request for a private - tailor made trip, my team and I make our best effort in thinking what would be the best experience you could possible enjoy at the destinations you choose

We understand that there is very little knowledge of Chile out there, and coming here is really a huge adventure, especially after so many hours flying from wherever you pick your plane... but crossing The Andes mountain range to see with your own eyes our hidden beauties totally worth... because Chile is much more than Patagonia, Eastern Island and Atacama Dessert.
